The Production module is important for manufacturing companies wishing to organise and schedule jobs for production efficiently and at times when appropriate resources are available. This maximises throughput by scheduling work either working back from a required date, or as soon as possible. All scheduled jobs are displayed in a GANTT chart view, and the total and available capacity for each department or 'work centre' can be clearly summarised on a single screen.
Each job is scheduled using 'Job Cards' which contain one or more instructions that can be printed out for use on the shop-floor. These Job Cards form the basis for integration with the Shop-Floor Data collection module.
