Filtering Activities


A variety of filters is available for controlling the display of activities.

Firstly, selecting a contact will automatically filter the calendar to display only activities relevant to that person.

Clicking the My Diary button will switch to the user's own contact, for quick display of all activities for the logged on user.

At the top of the main activities window is a line of filter controls.

The For User control allows the selection of users from the Home company - that is, possible members of staff. An option here is to select 'All' which will filter for all users. This filter applies to the Allocated To field on the activity.

The Activities filter governs which type of activity is displayed. An 'All' option is also available. If user-defined types are set up, these will also appear in the list. If the filter is set to a user-defined type with resources, each resource is then displayed with its associated colour, as set up in the preferences.

The Jobs filter allows the display of job-related items. Activities for jobs whose status is appropriate to the selected filter will appear.

The Group By control selects an additional grouping. Options are User (shows a separate calendar for each Home company user) and Priority (Normal, High and Low are separated out).

The Search box can find activities related to a Job (by Reference) or by Description.
