Clarity QuoteNest has a fast, easy to understand user interface, with the most efficient nesting results we have seen during our research. Rectangles
as defined in Clarity Calc Wizards, complex shapes read from a drawing .dxf file, mirrored shapes and material grain considerations are all possible.
You can also nest on regular, irregular and off-cut material shapes. The solution uses all available material including "hole filling", only usually
found in the very expensive nesting tools.
Don't worry if you already have a nesting tool in the production area, as Clarity QuoteNest will save a file in the Clarity Documents folder structure
ready for use in production. This can be combined with other jobs made from the same materials so that a 'master' cut file can be created.
The job cost is calculated by optimising material use, and also knowing the cut path distance. When combined with the speed of the cutter (based on
the material selected) we calculate accurate cut times for production. Users of the Production Module can automatically schedule accurate cutting
times. Remember, this information is calculated at quotation time, so if the quote turns into an order, there is no extra work involved to get this
information to the shop floor.
